Std 7 Education Excursion Gir (Dated: 31-01-2026)

An educational excursion to Gir and Somnath was organised on 31st January 2026 for the students of class 7th. Gir National Park, the home of Asiatic lions, provided students with an opportunity to learn about wildlife conservation, biodiversity, and natural habitats.The visit to Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, helped students understand India's rich cultural and historical heritage. The temple's architecture and spiritual significance offered valuable insights into ancient traditions. The excursion encouraged experiential learning by forest walk and village visit, teamwork and curiosity among students, making education enjoyable beyond the classroom while connecting them with nature and culture. Overall it was an enriching and memorable experience for the students.
