CLASS 8 - Field Trip Santram Eye Hospital (Dated: 04-10-2025)

The visit was planned for class 8 students to provide them with a unique learning opportunity. As a specialized facility, it provides a focused and in-depth view of eye care and community service. Students during their visit learnt about advanced medical technologies and procedures, such as those used for cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment. They also observed various eye examination techniques and equipment. The doctor educated them about different parts of an eye, importance of routine eye check-ups and the signs of common eye conditions. They also learnt about preventative strategies, including protecting their eyes from prolonged digital screen use.
