CLASS 8 - Hope Anti Tobacco Camp (Survey in Hospital) (Dated: 11-10-2025)

Students of class 8 visited Krishna Hospital in Karamsad, Anand as a part of Hope: Anti-Tobacco Campaign. Children attended 2 sessions during which they were informed about- What is Cancer, Risk factors causing cancer, Common Types of cancer, Preventive or not ,Types of Treatment available in India, Machinery and Technology used, PM-Jay Yojna(Ayushman card) etc. Students learnt about the harmful effects of smoking and consuming tobacco. They were also advised to take HPP Vaccination, suggested for the age group 9-14 years of age if not taken till now. Children found the visit and interaction with the oncologiststo be quite informative.
