Class 2 Making of Props for Shadow Game (Dated: 14-02-2026)

To help children understand the concept of light and shadow through fun, hands-on play and to encourage creativity, imagination, teamwork, confidence and fine motor skills an activity was organized for the students of class 2. In this Prop making session, children made different props and later used them for a Shadow Game. A torch or lamp was placed behind the props made to form clear shadows on the screen. Children were able to identify that a shadow is made when an object blocks light. Children move the props in front of the light and observe how shadows change in size and shape. Making shadow game props helped children learn science concepts in a joyful way.
