Class 3 Hands on Measurement Standard Non standard (Dated: 20-12-2025)

The students of Grade -3 participated in the club activity of standard and non standard units of measurement. The aim of this activity was to make learning meaningful and practical. During this interactive session students actively participated in measuring different kinds of objects. They understood the concept of a' unit' of measurement by using different tools like ruler, weighing machine, measuring tape and ladle for standard units of measurement. They also learnt about non - standard units of measurement like handspan, cubit, footspan and armspan. Students measured different things like potatoes, notebooks, textbooks, pencil, erasers and so on which they had brought from their home. This activity promoted active learning, effective teamwork and practical application of measuring skills making this learning experience enjoyable and effective.
