Class 7 - Vocational Training Carpentry (Dated: 10-01-2026)

As part of their club activity, students of class 7 learnt to make a wooden bathroom box where we can keep necessary bathroom things like soap. shampoo, toothpaste, brush etc. The aim of this activity was to develop basic woodworking skills among students. First, the students were taught about safety rules and the proper use of tools such as a measuring tape, saw, hammer, nails and sandpaper. After this, the measurements for the bathroom box were marked on the wooden pieces according to the given design. Finally, the wooden bathroom box was finished by pasting sunmica. Through this activity, students learned practical skills, improved hand-eye coordination and understood the importance of accuracy, safety and teamwork. The session was interactive and student-friendly, using discussions, real-life examples and question-and-answer segments to encourage participation
