Class 8 Brain Games with Matchsticks (Dated: 11-04-2026)

On 11 April 2026, Brain Games with Matchsticks activity was conducted for Grade 8 students during their club periods. Matchstick puzzles are not only excellent for fostering logical thinking but also serves as fantastic trainers for enhancing creative problem-solving skills. The aim of this activity was to enhance critical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork and communication. Beyond their entertainment value, matchstick puzzles play a crucial role in developing cognitive abilities. These puzzles hone attention to detail, encourage the search for alternative solutions and enhance spatial imagination. Students were divided into groups of six. Each group received 10 puzzles, and 10 points were awarded for every correct solution. The students participated enthusiastically and worked together to solve the puzzles. The activity was engaging and successfully achieved its objectives.
